ABOUT
Ellie is a director, scriptwriter and facilitator from Bury. Her work often explores queer, northern and women's experiences. With a background in heritage and experience as an oral historian, she seeks to uncover and amplify the voices of communities who have been silenced in the archive, using her creative practice to make them accessible to new audiences.

About Lived Experiences
Lived Experiences is a new writing night held in conjunction with mental health awareness week in May. This year will mark the second year of the event. There will be a collection of different short plays, all centred around the broad theme of mental health.

This year's event will take place on Friday 15th May at Salford Arts Theatre.

About Nurturing Talent
The Nurturing Talent programme is for emerging artist facilitators to gain hands-on workshop experience in a range of challenging community settings. It gives six artists (five based in London, one in Manchester), the opportunity to work as a supporting artist on Create projects, learning how to apply their professional practice within different participant groups, connecting with our experienced artists, and attending tailored training days with a dedicated mentor.
